Head of Committee
CCIS holds many social events throughout every academic year. The events help to develop social skills and besides it gives both students and staffs something fun to do besides their daily school routine.
The school staffs are grouped to form a committee under different events. Each committee, under the leadership of Ms.Shatha Haddad (head of the committees), plan for the event they are responsible for. This gives them an opportunity to discover things they may be interested in besides academic work. The head of the committees is tasked with researching , planning, requesting approvals required from authorities, budgeting, and so on.

Green Day 2023
CCIS community celebrates the “Green Day” to highlight the importance of plants & trees and raise students’ awareness about saving our planet Earth from destruction through planting more trees and reducing pollution. CCIS MOTTO is “Forests are Green, Oceans are Blue, and Keep the Earth clean for me and you.”

Reading Week
Students at CCIS got to experience an enchanted reading week... where they were taken on a journey of imagination through reading. Books were selected carefully keeping in mind a simple storyline, repetition mostly in the form of picture books, pop-up books and many more varieties.They took turns to read as well as listen as their teachers read to them. They were also entertained by plays of their favorite stories, prepared by the staff. They were given the chance to buy different kinds of books from the special stalls that were set up.

The Winter Carnival
The winter carnival, held at CCIS, in the month of December casts a magical spell on one and all as it drew them into a world of fun, happiness and togetherness. There were different activities like face painting, photo booths, bubble show and the best part of all...special gifts!!!

National Day
Each year we celebrate National Day and Liberation Day! It is very exciting to see how interested the students are to enjoy this day along with the teachers. Classrooms and hallways are decorated with red, green, white and black. Everyone dresses in the Kuwait traditional clothing. There is music, dancing, singing and poetry. We all share the happiness and joy on this great day.

Jungle Fiesta
It's Jungle Themed Day!!! CCIS stepped into a fantastic day of jungle fun as the staff and students dressed in various animal costumes. There were different fun filled activities like jungle-related games, photo booths, etc. for the students to engage in. In the jungle, the mighty jungle, the lions feast tonight....in the jungle the mighty jungle the lions feast tonight.

Girgian Celebration
The celebration of Girgian falls in the middle of the Holy month of Ramadan. Both students and staff dress up and take part in this day. The boys wear bright Thawbs, traditional caps, vests, beautifully hand-woven Bisht with gilt trim. The girls dress up in Dira’ahs with embroidery. The students gift each other a mixed pouch of sweets, candies and nuts, which is the tradition followed for many years.

Sports Day
This is a special day for CCIS students, as they get to showcase their abilities in front of their families in various games for which they have trained hard. Through participation our students can get a sense of competition, achievement, build confidence and finally it makes them very happy. The sports committee of CCIS makes sure that the students, their families along with the staff have a fun filled day.
